Meet Mrs. Bailey!
Bailey Hardy-Price is a dedicated music educator and trombonist who is passionate about helping students grow in confidence, creativity, and musical skill. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Trombone Performance at the University of Kentucky, Bailey brings a strong background in both performance and music education to every lesson.
Bailey has taught students of all ages and experience levels in a variety of settings, including college studios, K-12 classrooms, private lessons, and community music programs. She previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Asbury University, where she guided trombone students in developing strong fundamentals, musical expression, and performance confidence.
In addition to teaching brass students, Bailey has experience working with young beginners through elementary music education using engaging approaches such as Orff, Kodály, movement, games, and collaborative music-making. Her teaching style is encouraging, thoughtful, and personalized to each student’s learning style and goals.
Bailey also served as a Graduate Assistant with the University Bands program at the University of Kentucky, where she taught future music educators and led trombone sectionals focused on tone, articulation, phrasing, and ensemble performance.
Whether working with a brand-new beginner or an advanced musician, Bailey strives to create a welcoming and inspiring environment where students can discover a lifelong love of music while building strong technical and artistic foundations. 🎶
